Walter Holland began teaching as an
Adjunct Professor of Art in 1985 at Chapman University. His areas
of interest are : painting, color theory, theoretical computer
graphics and computer assisted art and design. Because of his
interdisciplinary background, he has been successfully teaching
students the relationships between art and technology in courses,
lectures and seminars and specializes in conveying these concepts
to non-technical audiences. Currently, Professor Holland is working
on a textbook expounding color theory for artists, based on his
lectures at Chapman University, the Extensions of UCI and UCLA
and Irvine Valley College.
